Buying Property in Nessebar: Year-Round Living in New Town vs. Old Town

I am seriously considering purchasing an apartment in Nessebar to live in year-round, but I am torn between the Old Town and the New Town areas. While the Old Town has incredible charm and history, I am concerned about accessibility and infrastructure during the quiet winter months. Conversely, the New Town seems more practical for daily life, but I am worried about losing the authentic atmosphere. Does anyone have experience living in either area permanently, and which would you recommend for a long-term resident?

I have lived in the New Town for three years now. It is definitely the better choice for year-round living. You have access to schools, banks, and supermarkets that stay open all winter, which makes life much easier.
